Cotton Australia holds the Australian Cotton Industry Awards annually. The Awards are run by a taskforce made up of industry representatives, Awards sponsors and the event managers.
The Awards showcase and reward the significant achievements made by our industry’s growers, researchers, young achievers, and other key individuals. The quality of participation in this event reflects the depth of skills, innovation and knowledge within the Australian cotton industry and demonstrates its vibrancy and pre-eminence within Australian agriculture. The Awards are an occasion for people to come together to acknowledge the positive contribution that all Awards nominees have made to the cotton industry and the communities in which they live.
In its current format, the five Awards categories are: Monsanto Grower of the Year, AgriRisk Innovative Grower of the Year, Chris Lehmann Trust Young Achiever of the Year sponsored by Bayer CropScience, Cotton Seed Distributors Researcher of the Year, and the Cotton Service to Industry Award.
